Job Description

Join our team as a Forklift Operator and Warehouse Associate where your forklift experience and warehouse skills will be highly valued. This role offers a dynamic split between warehouse duties and customer service at the counter.

This position requires a candidate comfortable with both warehouse operations and customer interaction. You will perform general warehouse tasks such as unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and cleaning, alongside assisting customers at the counter and processing orders. Proficiency in forklift operation is essential to safely and efficiently handle materials.

Job Details

• PAY RATE: $19.00hr
• LOCATION: Fort Worth, TX 76140
• HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm / M-F
• POSITION: Contract

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products under general supervision.
• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect their condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Warehouse skills including forklift operation experience.
• Counter Sales or Customer Service skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.
• Basic reading, writing, and numerical ability.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.
• Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to perform varied tasks.
